Vietnam- Accommodation
Accommodation in Vietnam iseasywith.me.
During my 15 days there, I travelled from north to south and experienced 7 accommodation.
So if you are ready, let us go!
Hanoi to Lao Cai
in the train, cabin, wash up and toilet
I stayed a night in a VIP cabin on the Laman Express SP3 night train when I travelled from Hanoi to Lao Cai. The trip was about 8 hours.
It was my first time sleeping on a bed in a train and surprisingly, it was quite comfortable albeit there was space constrain.
Y Ty

the homestay and camp in the mountain
When I was in Y Ty, I stayed a night at the homestay and another in the mountain camp en route to the peak of Lao Than.
Lao Cai
the room and bathroom
I had initially planned to stay a night in Lao Cai before I moved to Sapa but as I had to return to Lao Cai to apply for the border permit, I swopped to stay for the night while I waited for it at Diamond Hotel located at 358 Nguyen Hue, Pho Moi, Lao Cai, Vietnam.
Sapa
the room and bathroom
In Sapa, I stayed a night at Camellia Guest House at 3 Fansipan, Sapa, Lao Cai, Sa Pa, Vietnam.
It was centrally located right on Fanzipan, near the other main streets, cafes and across the Sapa Station to take the funicular railway to Fanzipan cable car.
Lao Cai to Hanoi
When I returned from Lao Cai to Hanoi, I took another night train, the New Livitrans Express SP4 VIP and spent a night in the train.
From my experiences and for the small price difference, I prefer the Laman Express.
Hue
the room and bathroom with bathtub
By the time I arrived at Hue, it was already night and as I had a full day the next day before I move on to Da Nang the morning after, I stayed 2 nights at Mondial Hotel located at 17 Nguyen Hue 530000 Hue Vietnam.
The room was huge and the bathroom came with a bathtub. 🛀🏼
Da Nang
the room, kitchenette and bathroom
I stayed a night at TIDITEL Hotel and Apartment located at 80 Núi Thành Da Nang Vietnam. The room came with a kitchenette and a washing machine in the yard area.
As the lift lobby was located in the basement car park area, I was given a remote control to operate the shutter at the entrance of the car park in case it was closed when I needed to enter or exit the property.
Hoi An
the homestay and bathroom
I did a night of homestay in Hoi An at Dao tien Homestay located at 12 Tran Cao Van, Hoi An, Son Phong, Hoi An, Vietnam.
It was clean, comfortable and located about 1.1 km from the famous bridge and canal leading to the ancient town, just about the right distance for a nice stroll in the UNESCO-inscribed town.
Ho Chi Minh City
the apartment, kitchenette, loft and bathroom
There was quite a bit of activities for the Ho Chi Minh City leg of my adventure and I stayed 4 nights at an apartment known as My House 630 located at 47 Nguyễn Thái Bình, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
I found the concept quite nice as there was a loft with another bed and there was a window to look into the main bedroom below.
It was quite well located and about 500 metres from Ben Thanh Market and near the bus stop to take the airport bus.
The downside was that there was only a lift and it would be switched off at about 2300 hours and I had to use the stairs to get to the apartment on the 6th floor. ☹️
Laundry service was provided by the owner herself, who lived in the same apartment building.
